Initial Tasks of the Traffic Manager

One of the most important and complex parts of this process is the correct setup of advertising accounts, ad groups, and campaigns.

Here's a brief explanation of how this process works:

Advertising accounts: Creating and setting up accounts in Meta Ads, YouTube Ads, TikTok Ads, and Google Ads is essential for having full control over the campaigns. This includes installing tracking pixels to monitor the behavior of people who interact with your ads.

Ad groups: These are used to organize different ads according to target audiences, interests, and content types. For example, we will create different groups for people interested in specific music genres or for those who have already interacted with your music (custom audiences).

 

Campaigns: Correctly configuring campaigns is critical. We define the goal of each one (increase followers, plays, or sales), set up conversion events (such as visits to your website or song plays), and prepare the ads in different formats (video, image, carousel).

 

This strategic and detailed work makes all the difference between spending money without getting results or creating campaigns that truly generate impact.

Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Maintenance

Once the campaigns are running, I will handle daily maintenance. This involves monitoring performance, optimizing ads, adjusting audiences, and rotating creatives. Weekly, I will send you reports to review how the ads are doing, and monthly, we will adjust the strategy to keep performance optimal in the long term.

My Fee and Market Comparison

My fee will be $400 per month. While in Brazil, traffic managers charge between R$1500 and R$3000 per month, and in the U.S., they charge from $500 to $2000, my price is lower than the usual minimum because I am just starting in this area of traffic management and because we’re already creative colleagues. This represents a benefit for you since you'll get quality service at a highly competitive price.

I am currently studying under the most renowned mentor in Brazil and I am part of a large community of traffic managers with over 10,000 active members. This allows me to clarify any questions that may arise and learn from how other managers have successfully applied techniques in the music niche.

Initial Ad Investment

Both experts and the ad platforms recommend a minimum investment of $40 per day per platform. However, I’ll also provide a plan below to help reduce that cost further if necessary.

  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram Ads): $40 daily.

  • TikTok Ads: $40 daily.

These numbers are estimates based on the recommended initial budget, but with daily consistency in investment and continuous campaign optimization, we can achieve good initial results. Once we have well-structured and tested campaigns, we can increase the investment and exponentially increase the reach.

Who is the owner of the ad account? It’s important to clarify that I will not be the owner of the advertising accounts. One of you (Carlos or Juliane) will be the account owner in YouTube Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and Google Ads. I will explain how you can give me access to manage the accounts without compromising your personal or banking information. My access will be limited to campaign management, and only the account owner will be able to deposit the funds.

What happens if the initial investment doesn’t generate the expected results? The first few weeks are crucial for gathering data on campaign performance. Based on this data, I will adjust the ads, audiences, and strategies to improve the results. Results aren’t always immediate, but consistency and gradual optimization will help the investment generate better results over time.

Can we change the investment budget at any time? Yes! We can adjust the daily budget at any time depending on the results we’re getting. If a campaign is performing very well, we can increase the investment, and if a platform isn’t giving good results, we can reduce or pause it.

Can I manage my own ad accounts later? Of course. You (Carlos or Juliane) will own the ad accounts. I will only have access as a manager, so you can take full control of the accounts at any time if you wish. I can also teach you how to do it if you want to be more involved in managing the campaigns.

How will we know if the campaigns are working? I will send you weekly reports with clear metrics on ad performance: how many people we reached, number of clicks, cost per conversion, and more. We’ll also be in constant communication to review results and optimize campaigns together.

What’s the difference between Meta Ads, YouTube Ads, TikTok Ads, and Google Ads? Each platform has its own audience and advantages: Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram): Ideal for building a visually engaged audience, excellent for interaction and community building. YouTube Ads: Perfect for reaching people looking for audiovisual content and music videos. TikTok Ads: Highly effective for reaching a young audience and quickly viralizing content. Google Ads: Useful for being present in specific searches and showing ads on the display network, though it may not be the priority for musicians at the initial stage.

How long will it take to see significant results? This depends on several factors, such as budget and platform. Normally, we see initial results within the first few weeks, and continuous optimization will help improve them throughout the first month. By the second month, we’ll have better clarity on which campaigns are most successful.

What’s the difference between my monthly payment and the investment in platforms? My monthly fee of $400 covers the management, optimization, and continuous monitoring of campaigns on the platforms.
